Sacred wins the Betway EBF Stallions Maiden Fillies Stakes, a Plus10/GBB Race at Newmarket, in impressive style and now heads to Royal Ascot for the Queen Mary Stakes Group 2.

Managing Director Chris Richardson said: Cheveley Park Stud have always been supporters of industry self-help schemes. We need to encourage both flat and national hunt breeders along with owners of thoroughbred racehorses to embrace this wonderful sport and show the Government that we, as an industry, are trying to do our bit.

"A filly and mare scheme, such as the Great British Bonus recently launched by the TBA, funded primarily by the Horserace Betting Levy Board, should give owners a huge uplift in confidence when it comes to considering, selecting and buying fillies, either privately or at public auction.

"The scheme also rewards trainers, jockeys and stable staff. Why not blow our own trumpet for British breeding, under both codes, with no limit to the number of bonuses that can be won by eligible fillies and showcase the benefits of supporting British based stallions.
