Although having won several thousand races in England, the Hannons still retain enormous enthusiasm for any win. However, Richard Hannon was over the moon about his filly CONCESSIONS winning a three horse maiden race at Chelmsford. It wasn't the basic prize money that got him excited. It was the £20,000 Great British Bonus that brought that infectious broad smile to his face.

Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad al Khalifa is a welcome new force to the ranks of owners in Great Britain. He is the son of the King of Bahrain and widely acknowledged as an accomplished sportsman in many disciplines. His colours were carried to victory twice at Royal Ascot last year and he now has twenty horses in training in England, including CONCESSIONS, bought by Oliver St Lawrence for 125,000 Guineas at Tattersalls Book 2 last year.
