The COVID-19 pandemic and issues at the Animal Health Trust has unsurprisingly had some effect on the registration of foals this year.
These factors have impacted workloads at a period when the foal registration deadline falls close to the original final GBB 2020 filly foal registration date.
Therefore the GBB Management Board has taken the decision to delay the final registration date for 2020 filly foals to October 31st.
It is important to note that the final registration date for 2019 filly yearlings has not been changed and remains August 31st. This is to ensure that the status of eligibility for every filly with a GB suffix in the upcoming yearling sales is clearly known.
There will be absolutely no concessions made for late registrants for either date.
