SWINCOMBE FLEAT, who has already won two GBB bonuses, aims to make it three when she runs again at Sandown on Thursday 17th February.

The 6YO bay mare (50% GBB), owned by owner-breeders Mr and Mrs M. C. Yeo and trained by Anthony Honeyball, is the full sister of Listed winner, MASTER DEBONAIR.

She was originally registered with the National Hunt Mare Owners' Prize Scheme (NH MOPS) but was carried over to the GBB scheme when it launched in 2019.

The home-bred SWINCOMBE FLEAT won her first GBB bonus in a bumper at Fontwell on 14th January 2021, followed by a £10,000 GBB bonus at Exeter on 16th December 2021.

Speaking after the mares Exeter win, Mr and Mrs M. C. Yeo said: "It was a bit of a surprise to hear the news. As owner-breeders, a GBB win makes a real difference and encourages us to keep going. As a result of the generous GBB payments, we have decided to find another mare to race."

SWINCOMBE FLEAT is sired by Coolmores YEATS, who was unbeaten at two years, was a winner of seven Group 1 races, including an unprecedented four consecutive victories in the Ascot Gold Cup. The Dam is SWINCOMBE FLAME, who has had 15 starts, including five wins and seven placings.

SWINCOMBE FLEAT is set to run in the Jane Seymour Mares Novices Hurdle at Sandown on 17th February.
