On 10th November 2022, the George Boughey-trained PERDIKA (Unfortunately x Gold Dirham) won the Faithfull Floorcoverings Fillies Restricted Novice Stakes at Chelmsford. This race carried prize money of £3,725 for the winner but as a GBB-registered filly, PERDIKA took home £23,725 whilst impressive, it is not an unusual story for GBB. However, this was the third time the PERDIKA had won a fillies-only GBB race which meant that she has won £60,000. These bonuses took her earnings from £11,069 to £71,069!
On the flat, 63 fillies have won more than one bonus but only four have won three bonuses and of those, only two have carried home the full £60,000.

We're delighted that she can now share that title with PERDIKA. It's brilliant news for all her connections: her owners of course but also her breeders Bumble Mitchell and Mrs Nicholls. With the scheme well into its second year and more fillies registered than ever before, I am sure it won't be long before we see more flat fillies achieving this milestone."
GBB has awarded over £8.5 million to the owners, breeders, trainers, jockeys, and stable staff of British Bred fillies since it launched in June 2020. The scheme incentivises the breeding, buying, and racing of British-bred fillies by awarding multiple bonuses of up to £20,000 per race to registered fillies.
